The Angelaccio brothers, ambassadors of the Italian Truffle Academy
Edmondo and Vittorio Angelaccio from King of Truffles company have been awarded the title of ‘Italian Truffle Ambassador’ for the Molise Region by the Italian Truffle Academy.
At the Fontanafredda estate in Serralunga d’Alba (Cuneo), an evening dedicated to good taste and values was held between the Italian CIA Farmers, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Italian Truffle Academy, to relaunch the candidacy truffle as standard bearer of Made in Italy cuisine in the world on the occasion of Expo Dubai 2020.
“The Truffle is the prince of cooking and the art of the table – observe Giuseppe Cristini and Davide Feligioni, respectively president and director of the Academy – suitable to satisfy the universal palates, from the mild vegan to the demanding gourmet, from the passionate researcher to the curious tourist. A value that intertwines environmental issues with the principles of a new cuisine that tells culture.”
During the evening, the new appointments of the ‘ambassadors’, including Edmondo and Vittorio Angelaccio, awarded by the Academy “for having gained academic skills and studies over the years around the world of truffles and communication in Italy and around the world”.
